On July 21, 2025, the company discovered unauthorized activity in its internal systems. An investigation later determined that an unauthorized third party may have gained access to the network and certain personal information stored therein between July 15 and July 26 of this year.

The personal information involved in the TEAM Companies data breach varies by individual but may have included names, addresses, dates of birth, government-issued ID numbers, financial account details or health data.

The company, which has offices in California and New York, reportedly began notifying individuals impacted by the incident on November 21, 2025.
