According to a September 28, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Interlock claimed to be responsible for an attack that allegedly exposed sensitive data in the practice's care, including medical records, insurance data, patient information, and other confidential information. The suspected attack was estimated to have occurred the same day the post was made.
Breachsense, another dark web security site, similarly stated that Interlock was behind an attack on The Center for Kidney Care that reportedly involved 40 gigabytes of data.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed The Center for Kidney Care data breach.
