According to a sample notification letter (pictured below), Texas Hearing Institute became aware of a potential data breach on March 20, 2026 and confirmed on or about April 22 of the same year that unauthorized access to personal information stored within its network environment had occurred.
A report submitted to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation indicates that Social Security numbers, financial information, and medical information were compromised in the Texas Hearing Institute data breach.
Texas Hearing Institute finalized the list of those it intended to notify on June 19, 2026.
