Stockton Cardiology Security Incident: What Happened?
Stockton Cardiology, which has offices in Lodi, Stockton, Manteca, Tracy and San Andreas, California, has announced a data breach involving unauthorized access to sensitive information.
According to a sample notification letter (pictured below), the incident was identified on December 15, 2025, when suspicious emails were sent to several employees and subsequently deleted. On January 17, 2026, it was discovered that certain files may have been accessed and removed in the Stockton Cardiology data breach. An investigation was launched to assess the extent of the breach and secure the system.
On February 17, 2026, Stockton Cardiology learned that some of these files had been publicly disclosed following the cybersecurity incident. The information involved could include patient names, mailing and email addresses, and billing records with limited medical details.
