Sonitor Technologies, a healthcare support company, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a July 31, 2026 post on cybersecurity blog BreachSense, ransomware group PEAR claimed to be responsible for the alleged attack and reportedly accessed 560 gigabytes of data from the company. Ransomware.live, another dark web monitoring platform, similarly credited PEAR for the alleged attack on Sonitor, which is estimated to have occurred on July 7, 2026.
At the time this post was made, no additional information about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Sonitor Technologies data breach was available.
Sonitor Technologies, a company specializing in real-time location and efficiency technology for patients, staff and equipment, operates in over 300 hospitals and medical clinics worldwide.
