Reports Emerge of Possible Software Answers Security Breach
Software Answers, a Florida-based property management software provider that specializes in long-term stay accommodation, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 30, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group PEAR was behind the suspected attack, which was estimated to have occurred on September 14.
Breachsense, another dark web security site, similarly stated that PEAR claimed to be responsible for an attack on the property management company that allegedly involved 11.3 terabytes of data.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Software Answers data breach.
