According to a September 25, 2026 notice posted to its website, Saber became aware of unauthorized activity in its computer systems on July 27 of the same year. Following an investigation with forensic experts, the healthcare provider confirmed that information may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual during this incident and later completed a review of the potentially compromised data on August 19.
Information that may have been exposed in the Saber Healthcare Group data breach, varying by individual, includes names, dates of birth, driver's license and state-issued identification numbers, health insurance information, medical information, financial account information, passport numbers and Social Security numbers.
