According to a July 9, 2026 post on the dark web intelligence platform Ransomware.live, the threat actor Brain Cipher claimed that it stole over 250,000 files from Robroy, though the claim remains unverified. Ransomware.live estimates that the Robroy Industries data breach may have occurred on July 9, the same day it was discovered.
