ProMantra, a New Jersey-based healthcare revenue cycle management and support company, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 17, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Metaencryptor was behind the suspected attack, which was estimated to have occurred the same day the post was made.
HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly reported that Metaencryptor claimed to be responsible for an attack on ProMantra.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed ProMantra data breach.
