Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the PracticeSuite data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
PracticeSuite, Inc., which provides office management software to medical practices, reported a data breach to the Texas Attorney General's Office on November 18, 2024. According to the report, the PracticeSuite data breach may have exposed consumers' names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license and government-issued ID numbers, financial information, and medical and health insurance information.
Ransomware group RansomHub has reportedly claimed responsibility for the breach, stating that it stole 26 GB of sensitive data from PracticeSuite pertaining to 45,000 client clinics.
