PPBH Data Breach?: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of reports of a possible PPBH data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Park Place Behavioral Health Care patients and staff.
Reports Emerge of Possible Park Place Behavioral Health Care Security Incident
Park Place Behavioral Health Care (PPBH), a mental health clinic serving Osceola County, Florida, may have suffered a data breach.
According to an August 6, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Insomnia was behind the alleged attack, which was estimated to have occurred on July 23 of the same year.
BreachSense, another cybersecurity platform, similarly reported that Insomnia claimed to be responsible for an attack on PPBH.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Park Place Behavioral Health Care data breach.
What You Can Do
If you're affiliated with PPBH and suspect your information could have been put at risk, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force PPBH to ensure they take proper steps to protect the information they were entrusted with.
