Orchid Orthopedic Solutions Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Orchid Orthopedic Solutions data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On September 24, 2024, Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, which provides medical device contracting, design and manufacturing, reported a data breach to the Oregon attorney general. Little information is available on the incident; however, the report states that the Orchid Orthopedic Solutions data breach was discovered on August 30, 2024, with notice being supplied to consumers approximately a month later on September 23.
Orchid Orthopedic Solutions has not publicly stated what information was exposed in the data incident, but hacking group Cl0p has claimed responsibility for the incident and says it stole two terabytes of data.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Orchid Orthopedic Solutions to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
