One Medical Seniors Security Incident: What Happened?

Healthcare provider Amazon One Medical has disclosed a data breach involving information belonging to patients of One Medical Seniors and former patients of Iora Health.

In an online notice, One Medical stated that it learned on June 13, 2026 of unauthorized access to a third-party system used to store archived information for One Medical Seniors, which formerly operated as Iora Health before it was acquired by One Medical in 2021.

An investigation determined that between June 8 and June 11 of this year, an unauthorized agent was able to access patient files stored in the affected system. Other One Medical systems reportedly were not impacted by the One Medical Seniors data breach.

The information compromised in the Amazon One Medical data breach may have included clinical record information such as treatment plans, diagnostic information, imaging and prescription data, demographic information, contact details and Medicare and Social Security numbers.

One Medical began sending notices to affected individuals on June 29, 2026, a sample of which can be seen below.
