National Advisors Trust Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the National Advisors Trust data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On April 17, 2023, National Advisors Trust received a report about suspicious emails being sent from an employee’s web-based company email account. An investigation was launched, and it was discovered that an unauthorized individual had gained access to four employee email accounts containing client information.
The incident has potentially compromised consumers’ names, driver’s license or state identification numbers, Social Security numbers, and financial information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force National Advisors Trust to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
