Mile Bluff Medical Center, a hospital serving Juneau County, Wisconsin, has reported a data breach involving the sensitive information of its current and former patients and employees.
According to a notice posted to its website, Mile Bluff became aware of suspicious activity on its network on April 19, 2026. Following an investigation, the healthcare provider determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to its network between March 18 and April 19 of the same year and copied certain files.
Information compromised in the Mile Bluff data breach varied per individual but may have included names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, medical information and health insurance information.
Mile Bluff continues to assess the information impacted by the incident and intends to send further notification to affected individuals once the review is finalized.
