Life Unlimited Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Life Unlimited data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.

Life Unlimited Security Incident: What Happened?

Life Unlimited, a Missouri-based organization that provides services and support to individuals with disabilities, has reported a data breach that may have exposed sensitive information.

According to a September 4, 2026 notice posted to its website, the organization discovered that an unauthorized actor may have gained access to its network environment. Following an investigation and manual document review, Life Unlimited determined on July 15, 2026 that the impacted systems contained some personal information and were accessed between approximately January 20 and January 25, 2025.

Information potentially exposed in the Life Unlimited data breach included Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers with or without passwords and routing numbers, state identification numbers, health insurance application and claims information, patient account numbers, medical histories, conditions, treatments, diagnoses, patient names, dates of service and contact information.

Life Unlimited began notifying individuals who may have been impacted by the incident on September 4.

The Life Unlimited data breach was also reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on September 5.
