Indico Data Security Incident: What Happened?
Indico Data, a Massachusetts-based insurance intake and processing company, has reported a data breach involving the information of its corporate customers.
According to a notice posted on its website, Indico Data determined on May 7, 2026 that it had suffered a cybersecurity incident. Following an investigation with external cybersecurity specialists, the company found that an unauthorized party may have accessed online repositories containing the information of its corporate customers.
Information potentially impacted by the Indico Data data breach included names, addresses and Social Security numbers.
The investigation is ongoing but Indico Data has started notifying affected individuals of the incident. A sample notification letter, which was submitted to the Nebraska Attorney General's Office, can be seen below.
