Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Huron data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Earlier this year, Huron, Inc. detected suspicious activity on its servers and initiated an investigation to assess the situation. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual accessed certain files within Huron’s network on September 13, 2024, potentially copying the data.
Following this, Huron conducted a review of the potentially affected files to identify the information contained and its relevance to individuals. By October 11, 2024, the company completed this assessment, determining that personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, health insurance claim details and dates of birth, might have been compromised in the Huron, Inc. data breach.
Huron, Inc. specializes in the manufacture of complex tubular assemblies and precision machined products for the automotive industry and is part of HDT Automotive.
