Hardin, Kundla, McKeon & Poletto Data Breach

On May 29, 2025, Hardin, Kundla, McKeon & Poletto, P.C. reported a data breach affecting certain individuals' personal information. The law firm became aware on March 31, 2025 that certain personal information might have been affected due to the incident, a malicious encryption attack that led to unauthorized copying of files from its network around January 2024. 

It was found that data such as names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, driver’s license numbers, passports and other government IDs, medical and health insurance details, individual tax IDs, and financial account numbers may have been exposed in the Hardin, Kundla, McKeon & Poletto data breach. Written notifications of the data breach were sent via mail on May 29, 2025 to those with verifiable addresses. 

The firm, with locations in Springfield, New Jersey and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as well as New York City, practices in business and commercial law, personal injury and insurance defense, real estate law and more.
