Gulshan Management Services Security Incident: What Happened?
Gulshan Management Services, Inc. (GMS) has disclosed that a data security incident involving its information systems may have exposed certain personal information.
An investigation into unauthorized network access, which was initially detected during the weekend of September 27, 2025, found that a successful phishing attack days earlier, on September 17, had allowed an unknown third party to infiltrate servers housing personal data and deploy malicious software that encrypted parts of the business services company’s system.
The investigation determined that the Gulshan Management Services data breach may have compromised names, contact information, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers. According to a report submitted to the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the GMS data breach may have also impacted government-issued ID numbers, addresses and certain financial information.
