Encore Pharmacy Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Encore Pharmacy data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On July 24, 2023, it was discovered that Founder Project Rx, Inc., formerly known as Recept Group and currently operating as Encore Pharmacy, was the victim of a data security breach. Following an investigation, the company learned that an unauthorized person hacked an employee's email account, allowing them to access customers’ personal information and protected health information. The compromised data includes contact details, insurance information, prescription and other medical records, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and Social Security numbers.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Encore Pharmacy to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
