As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Flex data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
Flex Security Incident: What Happened?
Flex, a multibillion-dollar electronics manufacturing services and supply-chain solutions provider, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 21, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Metaencryptor claimed to be behind an attack on Flex that allegedly involved 365 gigabytes of data. The suspected attack was estimated to have occurred the same day the post was made.
HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly reported that Metaencryptor claimed to be responsible for an attack on the Texas-based technology company.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Flex data breach.
What You Can Do After the Flex Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the Flex data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
