Fieldtex Security Incident: What Happened?

Fieldtex Products, Inc. has reported that unauthorized access to its computer systems may have exposed certain private health information.

According to a notice posted on the company’s website, the incident was first detected on August 19, 2025. Following a third-party forensic investigation, it was determined that a limited amount of protected health information may have been affected by the Fieldtex data breach, including patient names, addresses, dates of birth, genders, insurance member identification numbers, plan names, and effective terms.

Fieldtex completed its review of the potentially impacted data on September 30 of this year and began informing related health plans. The company is also notifying individuals whose information may have been involved in the Fieldtex Products data breach.

Fieldtex is a New York-based company that manufactures and distributes medical and first aid supplies and provides over-the-counter health plan benefit solutions.
