A July 9, 2026 post on dark web intelligence platform Ransomware.live indicates that Chicago-based nonprofit Envision Unlimited may have suffered a data breach. While the incident remains unverified, ransomware group Money Message has reportedly claimed responsibility for the suspected cyberattack. This unconfirmed Envision Unlimited data breach is reported to have occurred on July 9, the same day it was discovered by Ransomware.live.
At the time this post was made, Envision Unlimited, which provides a variety of services to people with disabilities, had not confirmed whether a breach had occurred or whether any personal information was actually compromised.
