Cornelius Data Breach?: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of reports of a possible Cornelius data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who suspect their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Cornelius employees and distributors.
Reports Emerge of Possible Cornelius Security Incident
Cornelius, a major beverage dispenser manufacturer operating nationwide, may have suffered a data breach.
According to an August 12, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site DeXpose, ransomware group Cl0p was behind the alleged attack, which was estimated to have occurred on the same day.
Breachsense, another cybersecurity monitoring site, similarly stated that Cl0p claimed to be responsible for an attack on Cornelius and that the group accessed 3,684 gigabytes of data.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Cornelius data breach.
What You Can Do
If you're affiliated with Cornelius and believe your information could have been put at risk, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Cornelius to ensure they take proper steps to protect the information they were entrusted with.
