Consilium Staffing Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Consilium Staffing data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
In August 2024, Consilium Staffing, a company connecting contract healthcare providers with understaffed medical facilities, reported a data breach that potentially exposed sensitive personal information. The breach, originally detected on October 24, 2023, prompted a forensic investigation by cybersecurity experts, which concluded on February 7, 2024.
Following the investigation, Consilium undertook a review of data files, which concluded in April 2024. By April 26, a finalized list of affected individuals had been compiled. The Consilium Staffing data breach potentially compromised Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and driver's license details.
In response, Consilium has engaged a third-party vendor to assist with notifying affected individuals. Efforts are also underway to update any missing address information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Consilium Staffing to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
