Concord Eye Center Cyberattack: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the reports of a Concord Eye Center cyberattack.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who are concerned their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Concord Eye Center patients and staff.
Concord Eye Center Security Incident: What Happened?
Concord Eye Center, a New Hampshire ophthalmology practice, is actively addressing a cybersecurity incident impacting its network environment.
A notice posted to its website states that Concord Eye Center recently discovered a cybersecurity incident impacting a portion of its network environment, and, upon discovery, began an investigation with forensic experts to determine its potential impact. The company has announced that this assessment is ongoing and may span several weeks, but data impact is possible.
Per an October 12, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Interlock claimed to be responsible for an attack on the practice that allegedly exposed sensitive patient and administrative data, including names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, contact information, medical histories, billing and financial information, insurance information and payment records.
Breachsense, another cyber monitoring platform, similarly credited Interlock for an attack on Concord Eye Center that reportedly involved 290 gigabytes of data.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or timeline of the possible Concord Eye Center data breach.
What You Can Do
