As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information could have been exposed, including current and former Cleaver-Brooks employees and others affiliated with the company.
Reports Emerge of Possible Cleaver-Brooks Security Incident
Cleaver-Brooks, a boiler room products and systems manufacturer headquartered in Georgia, may have suffered a data breach.
According to an August 10, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live, hacker group Anubis was behind the supposed attack, which was estimated to have occurred that same day.
Breachsense, another dark web reporting site, similarly stated that Anubis claimed to be responsible for an attack on Cleaver-Brooks and allegedly acquired 700 gigabytes of data from the company.
At the time this post was made, no additional details were available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Cleaver-Brooks data breach.
