As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Care N’ Care Health Plan Security Incident: What Happened?
Care N’ Care Health Plan, a regional Medicare Advantage plan that services members in North Texas, reported a data breach to the Texas Attorney General’s office on October 7, 2025.
Though little is known about the Care N’ Care Health Plan data breach, the report shares that the incident may have impacted individuals’ names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical information, health insurance details and other personal data.
According to the report, the Care N’ Care data breach may have exposed the private information of 32,452 Texans.
The health plan is operated by Care N’ Care Insurance Company, Inc.
