Bridges EXP Security Incident: What Happened?
Bridges Experience, Inc. (Bridges EXP), which offers a clinical experience platform that facilitates rotations for students, universities and hospitals, recently experienced a security incident. The Bridges Experience data breach involved unauthorized access to several employee email accounts from December 2, 2024 to January 22, 2025. Upon discovery, the company engaged cybersecurity professionals to investigate.
The investigation revealed on June 3, 2025 that certain emails and files accessed contained personal information for clients of the company. The compromised data included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account information, payment card details, medical details, individual health insurance information, driver's license and passport numbers and taxpayer IDs. Bridges EXP, which also previously provided background screening and testing services for students in nursing and allied health programs (as well as for employment purposes), is reaching out to affected individuals for whom it has valid mailing addresses.
