Boyd Gaming Corporation, a casino entertainment company with over two dozen gaming properties across 10 states, reported in a September 23, 2025 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it had experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to its internal IT system. An investigation into the Boyd Gaming Corporation data breach revealed that the intruder extracted certain data from the company's systems, including information about employees and a "limited number" of other individuals.
Boyd Gaming said it is actively notifying those affected and will inform various regulators and governmental agencies as required.
