Bacon County Health Services (BCHS), a Georgia-based hospital and medical system, has reported a data breach that may have involved sensitive information.
According to a notice posted to its website, BCHS became aware of unusual activity within its internal network on July 27, 2026. After an investigation with cybersecurity specialists, the healthcare provider determined that an unknown actor accessed its network between July 10 and July 27; during this time, files were copied and potentially viewed.
