ANKA Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the ANKA data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the ANKA data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
ANKA Security Incident: What Happened?
GSPlatformCo Inc., which operates as ANKA, has disclosed a data exposure incident affecting a portion of its user data. The ANKA data breach did not impact the company's core database and instead involved unauthorized access to a system used for storing customer information.
The affected data, which was a snapshot from April 2025, consisted of basic profile details like names, contact information and demographic data, as well as account status and basic transaction history.
ANKA, which operates a platform used by African businesses to process payments and sell and ship products, intends to notify customers potentially impacted by the data breach.
GSPlatform Co Inc. reported to the Maine Attorney General's Office that the ANKA data breach affected 537,877 people.
What You Can Do After the ANKA Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the ANKA data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
