AngMar Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation

Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the AngMar data breach.

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the AngMar data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.

AngMar Security Incident: What Happened?

AngMar Management Services, which manages a network of home health and hospice providers across 11 states, has reported a data breach that may have exposed sensitive information.

According to a sample notice letter sent to potentially affected individuals, as seen below, AngMar identified unusual activity on its network on July 20, 2026. An investigation with forensic specialists revealed that certain information within the company's computer environment may have been accessed by an unauthorized actor on or around July 18 of the same year.

Information that may have been exposed in the AngMar data breach includes names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, patient IDs, medical record numbers, health insurance information, service dates, diagnoses and condition information, provider names, prescription details and medical history information.

Prior to the official disclosure, hacker group Interlock claimed to have obtained 710 gigabytes of sensitive data during an attack on AngMar, according to an August 11, 2026 post on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live.
