As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Allstate employees, policyholders and affiliates.

Reports Emerge of Possible Allstate Security Incident

Allstate, one of the nation's largest property-casualty, auto and life insurance companies, may have suffered a data breach.

According to a July 26, 2026 post on dark web monitoring platform DeXpose.io, ransomware group ExfilSquad claimed to be responsible for the possible attack, supposedly accessing over 657,000 records containing personally identifiable information, employee account information and other private data.

Ransomware.live, another cybersecurity platform, similarly described ExfilSquad's claims regarding the alleged July 26, 2026 attack and reported that 15.1 gigabytes of information were potentially acquired.

At the time this post was made, no additional information about the unconfirmed Allstate Corporation data breach was available.
