Alcott Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Alcott data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Alcott data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
Alcott Security Incident: What Happened?
Alcott HR, which provides human resources outsourcing services, has disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its systems.
An online notice states that suspicious activity was first discovered on some of Alcott’s systems in February 2025, and that a subsequent investigation concluded that an unauthorized actor had gained access to systems storing Alcott information.
Concluding in March 2026, a review of the information determined that names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license information, health information, and other information provided to Alcott could have been exposed in the Alcott HR data breach.
