A July 28, 2026 post on dark web monitoring blog Ransomware.live states that hacker group Termite claimed to be responsible for the alleged attack, which is estimated to have occurred on the same day. HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly reported that Termite was behind the suspected cyberattack on Affinia Healthcare on July 28.
At the time this post was made, no additional information about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Affinia Healthcare data breach was available.
