Zicam Cold Remedy nasal products have been associated with a permanent loss of sense of smell, also known as anosmia. These products, which are marketed by Matrixx Initiatives, are used to reduce cold symptoms. While some users lost their sense of smell after the first time they used the product, others only experienced this side effect after multiple doses.
