The maker of Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion 30-Day Smoothing Kit has been hit with a class action lawsuit alleging that they falsely advertised that the product would smooth the user’s hair and coat it with Keratin, a protein found naturally in hair. The suit claims that consumers unknowingly purchased a product that contains an ingredient, or set of ingredients, which can cause significant hair loss even when applied properly.  Allegedly, the product’s manufacturer, Unilever, violated consumer protection laws, breached it warranties to consumers, and unjustly profited from the sale of this product.
