A new class action out of Florida alleges the owners and operators of Woody's Waterside Island Bar & Grill failed to pay employees proper overtime and minimum wages.
A new class action out of Florida alleges the owners and operators of Woody’s Waterside Island Bar & Grill failed to pay employees proper overtime and minimum wages. Filed by a former cook who was employed between 2013 and 2016, the lawsuit claims the restaurant engaged in a practice of not paying employees the time-and-a-half rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week. The suit also claims the defendants did not keep FLSA-mandated time records of employees’ hours worked.
