Genpact Services Hit with Class Action Over Debt Collection Practices

A class action filed in Florida claims Genpact Services willfully violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) when it left consumers phone messages, but did not identify itself as a debt collector. The plaintiff claims she received three messages from the defendant that failed to provide meaningful disclosure that the caller was a debt collector inquiring about a delinquent credit card debt.
