Topamax Recall Issued Due to Foul Odor

A Topamax recall of approximately 57,000 bottles of the migraine and seizure medication was issued after four consumers complained of a foul odor. According to the FDA recall announcement, the odor is not toxic, but may cause temporary gastrointestinal symptoms.
Women Implanted with Recalled DePuy Hips More Likely to Need Revision

Reportedly, women implanted with the recalled DePuy hips may be more likely than men to experience problems requiring a corrective hip implant surgery. A report suggests that those implanted with artificial hips measuring less than 50mm in cup diameter are more likely to need a second hip replacement procedure.
